Deferent Golgi Despite the MacVenture format, Spectacle feels a bit more like PC-based adventure games from the era of King's Quest V. The music is a huge part of that, with its Sound Blaster-ish symphonic lushness. There's a lot to love here, but the melancholy field themes are superb. Favorite track: North Field Theme.

B B I was expecting another 8-bit NES sounding set of tracks a la Infested. What I got was a surprising amount of variance. The two "Field" tracks really stand out, feeling like night and day variations of exploring sprawling fields and savannahs, while the other tracks convey the former glory of a long-dead kingdom. Favorite track: North Field Theme.
